Week 43: The Prophesy Fulfilled

Another week has passed, the transfer has nearly come to an end. That was fast.

The most exciting thing that happened this week: Our friend Carlos was baptized!

Unfortunately, nobody showed up. 😕 Even the people that were supposed to give talks told us at the last minute they couldn't come. We just had a room of empty chairs + the bishopric. It was kinda fun, though.

Other than that, it is still a struggle to get people to church. Oh, well.

I dunno what else to say, that's kind of just how the work is going at this point.

I'm just gonna share a quote from Jeffery R. Holland because I like it and I'm lazy:

"Life has its share of some fear and some failure. Sometimes things fall short, don’t quite measure up. Sometimes in both personal and public life, we are seemingly left without strength to go on. Sometimes people fail us, or economies and circumstance fail us, and life with its hardship and heartache can leave us feeling very alone.

But when such difficult moments come to us, I testify that there is one thing which will never, ever fail us. One thing alone will stand the test of all time, of all tribulation, all trouble, and all transgression. One thing only never faileth—and that is the pure love of Christ."

Have a good week! 💖💖💖
