Week 72: 7 Apples Up on Top

Monday, February 23, 2026   10:20pm

Dearest friends,

This week was a bit of a curveball.

Each zone in our mission had a goal for new people attending church, and for each zone that met the goal, President Watson would bring to Top Golf with buffet. Kinda crazy.

We saw a TON of miracles this week relating to finding and teaching. It was super awesome. But on Sunday morning, the 7 or more people we were teaching couldn't make it for various reasons(including the death of a loved one). We were super disappointed...

But then, a random guy taught 6 months ago by other missionaries randomly walked into the chapel... with like, 6 people of his immediate and extended family. πŸ’€

So, now we are trying to figure out how many of our new friends are really going to progress. But yeah, I think Miracle March is starting.

Anyways, our zone hit the goal and we spent the afternoon at Top Golf. I did much better than I have in the past. It was a good day for me.

I want to share a scripture that I liked from my studies this week. It's found in D&C 101:16, and also is the theme of Elder Bednar's talk in April 2024.

"Be still, and know that I am God."

Although our lives are busy, tiring, chaotic, challenging, and a lot of other not-so-positive adjectives, God wants us to "be still," have time to remember Him, be at peace, and kinda just calm down a bit. He always will help us to make sense of and make the most of the things that we go through. He will always be our God.

Week 71: Please Don't Feed Me Green Onions Again

Monday, February 16, 2026   10:24pm

Buenas tardessss

This week, we worked extra hard even though we're tired of our tiny area, haha.

2 different members asked us to help them move out of their apartments. 🀨 Physical labor is always a nice break.

Our mission president likes to do this thing called Miracle March where all the missionaries try extra hard to be consecrated and diligent so we can see more miracles.

He has us do the '40 day fast,' which is basically a fast from things that have been stopping us from feeling the spirit as strongly. We always start the 40 days with a 24 hour fast from food and water.

Last year, in Miracle March, we broke the mission's record for most baptisms in one month. This year, the goal is around 30 baptisms more than the number we reached last year. We're super excited to keep seeing miracles!

This past Saturday, the day we started the fast, my companion and I were able to schedule a lesson with someone previously taught by sisters in another area. We arrived to the lesson and I realized I had visited them with the sisters back in August to give them blessings and help the sisters teach them!

The weren't ready to be baptized in August, but now, there's nothing stopping them and they're super excited! They came to church this Sunday and we'll be visiting them almost every day to help them keep learning! I'm very grateful to have found them.

A reoccurring theme of my recent studies is the godly attribute of Integrity. I'm currently working on integrity myself.

God wants to be able to trust us, and showing integrity is the way to win trust with anyone. We can show integrity by not lowering standards and expectations, not making exceptions, and doing what we know we should do even when we don't feel like it.

In D&C 124:15, God says, "And again, verily I say unto you, blessed is my servant Hyrum Smith; for I, the Lord, love him because of the integrity of his heart, and because he loveth that which is right before me, saith the Lord."

Because he did not waver when hard things were asked of him and he always stuck with Joseph, he was loved by the Lord and blessed openly.

Love yas!! πŸ’– πŸ’– πŸ’–
