Eric had a great week learning with and getting to know his district!
His class schedule was on Utah time, which worked out pretty good. He was still able to go to Seminary with Paul every morning, then come home and exercise, shower, and have study time online with his companion.
His dinner break was 6:30-8 most nights, which worked perfectly too.
The only downside was that his classes would go until 11pm most nights. But we stay up that late every night, so it wasn’t too big of a deal.
We moved a desk and Matt’s laptop into Eric’s room and that worked nicely for the week.
Friday was his pday and he only had one class, and then instead of sitting around, he decided to go grocery with me.
After shopping, he finally used his 2 year old Dairy Queen gift card.
He had classes on Saturday, but we were able to time pizza night to coincide perfectly with his dinner break. We watched the Joseph Smith movie.
On Sunday we were excited to see Eric’s missionary plaque up in the stake center. Then we noticed that they left his last name off.
We emailed the stake clerk and he’s ordering a new name plate.
