Hello, I am once again sending you an email.
A lot should have happened in the last 4 WEEKS, lemme just reach into the corners of my memory real quick.
Ah, yes. Well, the elder that was temporarily handycapped was better after maybe a week and a half, so we got the car back. 😈 Buuut... he started to have some pretty crazy stomach pain that made it hard for him to get up. He went to the doctor, though I don't think they did much for him. They did make him come back for an ultrasound. 😳 He's feeling better now, though I don't know what caused it.
We received a referral from the sister missionaries in another ward of a family of 7. The mom and dad warmed up to us pretty fast and were super interested in being baptized, which is actually amazing, but sadly, due to circumstances that will take time to change, they cannot be baptized for now. BUT they were super excited to have their oldest son of 8 years be baptized, so that's exactly what we did. He was baptized this Sunday the 10th.
The mom and dad have already been trying to make a lot of changes in their lives and have been noticeably happier! My companion and I are thrilled for them! The dad also tells me I look like Malcolm in the Middle (where have I heard that before??!!) and has just been calling me Malcolm. I'm very sure he does not know my real name, but that's okay.
There was also a kid that just turned 9 from a family of quite active recent converts that the bishop of our ward somehow failed to baptize. So we taught him, he was baptized by his dad, and we got more numberssss 📈
Our district did some cool stuff for our last pdays, like we went to an aquarium, Top Golf, and, uh, I think that's it actually. Dunno, can't remember right now.
