Week 73: Once Again, Alone.

Monday, March 2, 2026   10:31pm

Heyeyey, how's it going?

This was the last week of the transfer, so I must say goodbye to my dear companion Elder Carpenter. We didn't see a lot of success together, but we learned and had fun.

My new companion is from Chiapas, Mexico. His name is Elder Rodas. I will not mention anything else about him.

This last week was kind of sad for us; our friends progressing, after a week of no in person contact, told us they wanted to stay in their old religion. They hadn't mentioned anything about that before. I'm certain that's not why she decided to stop talking to us, but there's not anything we can do now.

In the "Good News Recipe" talk from the latest General Conference, Elder Amos quotes President Nelson, saying, “If you’re making a cake, you follow the directions, don’t you? And you’ll get a good result every time, won’t you?” He then relates this to reading and following the scriptures in our personal lives.

I like that this point of view shows how much we should trust God. He has given us the scriptures to teach us how to live our lives, and we have His promise that if we follow His commandments, we'll get a good result every time.

Love yas!! 💖💖💖
