Today is Zone Pday. My zone is all together playing games and hanging out. A very interesting expirence.
The week was a little difficult finding wise because there is no point to knocking outside of the apartment complexes that we've already knocked several times. More people are beginning to move, though, so we see more new faces. The ones that hate it when we knock their door for some reason don't want to leave. Tell me if you find the logic in that.
Almost every day, we visited the family we are teaching, helping them prepare for baptism. During one lesson, we brought some members with us. They testified powerfully, and brought the spirit super strongly. This family has passed through a lot of difficulties to be able to live here, and might have to leave soon. The mother really wants to bring comfort to her family and have her kids grow up in the gospel.
Our member offered to give her a blessing, and after he said amen, we realized she was crying. Her kids all came and gave her big hugs. It was an awesome moment.
Yesterday, they all came to church again, and what's more, they were baptized!!... Except for the 7 year old. He was feeling very left out, so I gave him stickers. A lot more people showed up and brought refreshments, and the spirit was super strong! I felt so proud of the faith they had in being baptized.
I ended up confirming one of them, which I did not expect.
Jesús also came to church, we're working on planning his baptism for this week. He's down for it, and it's very exciting.
We had two other new friends at church for their first time, and I think they enjoyed it. They come from another church in their home country, so they're a little hard to teach, but hopefully they can be a little humble and listen to the whisperings of the Spirit.
